Made of laminated wood with wood legs and metal hardware. Color my very in photoes do to lighting. The colors do match. Still nice and sturdy. I haven't done any repairs to either pieces. Some scratches and wear to laminate and brass coating on metal hardware. This is not uncommon with pieces of this age. Still look nice. I usualy use a wax polish on the to laminate surface to reduce,some of the appearance of wear and even out the shine
